Privacy Policy
Motorrad Club is operated by Amaresh (individual). In this policy, "we", "us", and "our" refer to Amaresh in connection with the Motorrad Club Android app for motorcycle riders. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.
Information we collect
- Account: name, email address, and authentication credentials (hashed on the server).
- Location: precise GPS during rides, including background location while a ride is active and the screen is off, to record routes and safety features.
- Ride telemetry: speed, lean angle, g-force, altitude, and related sensor data captured during rides.
- Photos and media: images you capture or attach to rides or club chat.
- Audio: microphone input for MotoBot voice commands and optional engine sound analysis (not continuous recording in the public app).
- Device: push notification token (FCM) and basic device metadata needed to deliver notifications.
- Communications: club chat messages and MotoBot conversation history stored on our servers and locally on your device.
- Subscriptions: if you purchase Club Pro, Google Play provides purchase tokens and subscription status; we store entitlement state on our servers.
How we use information
- Provide ride tracking, history, maps, and analytics
- Operate club chat and AI assistant (MotoBot) features
- Manage Club Pro membership and feature access
- Send service-related push notifications
- Maintain account security and prevent abuse
Sharing
We share data with service providers that help us operate the app:
- Our backend infrastructure (hosted servers and databases)
- Google Maps (mapping and routing)
- Google Firebase Cloud Messaging (push delivery)
- Google Sign-In (optional authentication)
- Google Play Billing (subscription purchases, when enabled)
We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We retain account and ride data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete associated personal data from our systems, subject to legal or security retention requirements. See Delete your account.
Your choices
- Manage permissions in Android Settings or in-app Settings → Manage Permissions
- Delete your account in Settings → Delete Account
- Cancel Club Pro in Google Play → Subscriptions
- Contact us to request access or correction of your data
Security
Data is transmitted over HTTPS in production. Access to production systems is restricted.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
